Under his leadership, the company has built comprehensive in-house capabilities—from R&D and design to manufacturing and testing, serving quality-conscious organizations across India, the Middle East, and Africa. 1. Why did you choose a career in the water industry?

I chose this path because water sits at the intersection of sustainability, public health, and economic resilience. It's one of those critical resources we often take for granted, yet it underpins every aspect of community and industrial life. As a director, what really drives me is the challenge of balancing operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and innovation, making sure our systems aren't just reliable today, but resilient for tomorrow. The water industry is evolving rapidly through digitalization and climate adaptation, and being part of that transformation is incredibly rewarding. Ultimately, it's about leading with purpose, securing a resource that's truly fundamental to life and progress.

2. Tell us about the journey of Panda Water Tech's growth.

We started back in 1999, specializing in designing, manufacturing, and recycling water and wastewater treatment plants. Our strength lies in advanced membrane separation techniques like Reverse Osmosis and Ultra Filtration. Over the years, we've built everything in-house R&D, design, engineering, fabrication, testing, so we deliver complete systems, not just parts.

We serve diverse industries: pharma, petrochemicals, textiles, food and beverages, packaged water, dairy, and power. Our portfolio includes RO plants, Ultra Filtration, STPs, ETPs, and Zero Liquid Discharge systems. We work closely with clients from assessment to installation and beyond, backed by 24/7 support. It's been quite a journey.

3. Looking back, what are you most proud of?

I'm most proud of the impact our key projects have made. Working with Banas Dairy, we implemented state-of-the-art purification systems that optimized water use while meeting strict quality standards. Our partnership with IRCTC OFFICIAL brought safe drinking water to millions of railway passengers daily, a true public health milestone. With Bisleri International Pvt Ltd, we enhanced purification processes, reinforcing trust in packaged water. And our work with #WASMO showcased our commitment to sustainability through innovative recycling and wastewater management.
